G. Donald Starn ’76

Rosie Starn made headlines in baseball, basketball and football for Wooster High and Wooster College. He earned All-Ohio honors at fullback and is remembered for his extra point, a drop kick, that gave the College a 7-7 tie with Ohio State in 1924. He played pro basketball with Chicago and AAA baseball as a first baseman and pitcher. In addition, he was a successful coach at Ashland and Kent State.
